Michael Morris

Michael Morris is a hospitality and food hall executive who has spent over two decades at the intersection of placemaking, development, and operations. As CEO of The Food Hall Co., he scaled the platform to more over $100 million in annual revenue, including flagship properties Legacy Hall in Plano, TX and Assembly Food Hall in Nashville, TN and the development of Shaver Hall scheduled to open this spring in New York City. Previously, he founded CANAdev, leading food hall development and retail placemaking for major mixed-use projects including Cross Street Market (Baltimore), District Detroit, Western Market (Washington, DC), High Street Place (Boston), and Port Covington (Baltimore). Earlier in his career, Michael was a Partner at The Cordish Company, where he played an integral role in the development of Power & Light District in Kansas City, 4th Street Live! in Louisville, and Seminole Paradise in Hollywood, FL. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Yale University.
